| Following
graduation from law school, I served a judicial clerkship in the Michigan
Wayne County Circuit Court until 1974. I have been in private practice
since that time. My practice based in Southfield, Michigan involves
both trial and transactional work. Through my practice, I represent
families and individuals in matters of probate, estate planning, elder
law, domestic relations/divorce and real estate. In matters involving
injury and negligence, business formation, bankruptcy and business
issues, I serve of counsel to attorneys who are specialists in those
areas of law. |
| |
| As
an attorney, I represent and counsel. I work as a team with my client.
I try to involve the client in all aspects of his or her case. I
explain the law to the client. I listen to the client so as to learn
of his or her concerns. I consider those concerns in working with
the client to formulate a strategy for the case. I try to reach consensus
with the client on the case strategy before implementing it. I recognize
that the outcome of the individual case will have an impact on the
life or business of the client. |
| |
| I
recognize that communication between attorney and client is crucial.
An inability to reach his or her attorney is upsetting to a client.
I return telephone calls as soon as possible. I inform the client of
developments in his or her case through reports or telephone calls. |
